My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and working on a plan together. I enjoy getting to know each individual and learning about the different paths they have taken through life. I have developed an approach that integrates different perspectives and theories. While working with individuals and families, I focus mainly on strengths and solutions using a cognitive behavioral perspective. I also concentrate on adding a holistic approach to healing. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina. I have been in the mental health field for over 23 years. I work with individuals ages 5 and up. My areas of expertise are: Anxiety, OCD, Depression, Autism/ADHD- Emotion Regulation, and Women's Issues- perinatal, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. I am certified in Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (TF-CBT), Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), and EMDIRIA trained in EMDR. I am also a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider (CMHIMP) and a Certified Heart Math practitioner. You have just taken the hardest first step! I look forward to working with you!
